PRI Show 2007

Hornet sprintcars made their debut at the 2007 PRI show in early december.

The interest in the car was incredible; many big name teams scoured over the car to see what made this car more advanced than the others already on the market,most the teams walked away knowing that this car had some great engineering built into it and a lot of their issues with their existing chassis were addressed and remedied . Hornet also had a bare kit on display so the welds and complete frame work could be seen another selling point for the Hornet crew ( the welds and workmanship was excellent).Hornet Sprint cars also announced that USAC Western States Sprint car Champion Ryan Kaplan will be driving the house car for the 2008 season when his schedule would permit.Ryan was at the display booth periodically through out the show There is also talk from Hornet that Nick Rescino will be purchasing a Hornet for 2008 as well.

The Hornet team consists of Jim Riddell, Ken Rines, and Bob Wolf.

On the east coast Gary Green of Heat racing has purchased the kit that was on display and has plans to be a dealer for that part of the country Gary will be running all the usac televised shows with his new Hornet no word at this time who will be piloting the ride.
